
Mabel Bush earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of San Francisco. She brings expertise in microbiology, infectious diseases, biofilms, immunology, and translational research, with a strong commitment to advancing efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) to the group at ASC.
Over the past six years, Mabel has worked in the biotechnology industry as a research scientist focused on oncology drug discovery. During this time, she contributed to multidisciplinary teams that advanced multiple therapeutic candidates into clinical trials and collaborated with leading pharmaceutical companies to support the development of innovative cancer therapies.
Mabel is currently transitioning to a career in public health and is passionate about translating scientific evidence into policies and strategies that strengthen public health systems and improve population health outcomes.
